Don’t Get Caught Using the Wrong Tools

Wrong tools in designPhoto credits: nail and screwdriver

Photoshop was not meant for designing logos (neither is Paint!);

Illustrator was not meant for laying out 40 magazine pages;

and InDesign was not meant for editing images nor for creating illustrations.

Just because you are comfortable using one of these, does not mean you should use it for every project you take on. Use the right program and you won’t be limiting yourself. After all,  learning something new isn’t all that hard, at least from my experience.
